25 Ways to Show Your Husband You Love Him, Free!

Guys are simple, so I just wanted to share a list of some things that I have mostly learned from my wife. Even after 18 years of marriage it seems as though we are still newly weds. If you put these considerations into practice I believe it will help you rekindle the love in your marriage. These are simple and free, they just take a little kindness, love, and effort.

Quality Time

1. When the weekend comes, ask him what he wants to do. Leave it wide open with no expectations. Just go along for the ride.
2. Get a sitter for the weekend. If you can’t afford one, call on Grandma or a trusted friend. Turn off the phones and the computers and spend time together. It’s not so important what you do, as long as you are together.
3. Rent a movie for the kids and while they are busy, serve dessert and coffee in your room. See what develops.
4. Help him clean the garage . . . don’t run to the mall! Spend that time together and then it will get done in half the time — freeing up the afternoon for more together time.
5. Establish a regular time to get exercise together. Whether you walk, ride bikes, or visit the gym together, you not only have an accountability partner for your exercise program, you are together.

6. Put love notes in his lunch box or briefcase. A scripture verse to encourage, a prayer, or just an “I Love You” will make his day.
7. Send him text messages or emails throughout the day. My husband and I love to use the smiley emoticons on our phones to make each other laugh.
8. Write your husband an old-fashioned letter. Choose beautiful stationery and the perfect pen. After penning those loving, encouraging words, spritz a little of his favorite perfume on the page. Decorate the envelope with Victorian stickers or rubber stamps. Then mail it to his office. It will definitely make his co-workers wonder.
9. When he has a tough day at the office, encourage him. Rather than pointing out his shortcomings or telling him what he could have done differently, tell him he is the best at what he does. Build him up without offering advice. Let him know you will pray for him and follow-up on the issue.
10. Pray for him. Daily. And tell him that you are.

11. Few men will take the time to add music and photos to their phones, so do it for him. Download his favorite music and photos of you and family on his MicroSD card. Then he’s sure to always have pictures of you and the kids to share with others.
12. Make him a gift. Do you knit or crochet? A scarf or socks would be great. Is scrapbooking your thing? Fashion a personalized picture frame, put your picture in it, and give it to him to take to the office. Create something specifically for him.
13. Do you still have your class ring? Put it on a chain and give it to him to wear under his shirt.
14. Make him a coupon book. Include coupons that allow him to choose the TV shows to watch for the evening. Include a few that offer to do his chores for him, like mowing the grass or taking out the trash. Think of things that would really bless him and include them.
15. Frame a memento. Several years ago I found a patent of my father-in-law’s in a box of papers in the attic. For Christmas, I had it framed with a photograph of the invention and gave it to my husband for Christmas. You can do the same thing with other mementos. Does he have any grade-school artwork, his sports jersey from high school, or remnants from a baseball card collection? Have is precious item framed and hang it where the entire family can admire it.

Acts of Service

16. If your husband is responsible for the mowing, mow the grass. If cleaning out the car is his job, do that. Pick one thing every week or so and just do it to bless him.
17. Set up a guy’s night with his buddies. Call his friends and tell them to meet him at the local steak house or bowling alley. Kiss him on the cheek when he goes out the door and tell him to have a good time.
18. Fix whatever is broken. Don’t make a “honey do” list, or nag him to do something that you are perfectly capable of doing yourself. He’s a busy guy. Grease that squeaky car door. Pour the drain opener down the drain. Paint the porch rail. You can do it.
19. While he’s taking his Sunday afternoon nap, clean out his car. Don’t just wash the outside, remove all the trash, wipe down the dash, and vacuum it. When he goes out Monday morning to go to work, he’ll be surprised.
20. Make him his favorite dessert. Keep it a surprise and serve while he’s watching his favorite evening show.

Physical Touch

21. Kiss him good-bye in the morning — every morning. Kiss him hello in the evening — every evening. Kiss him goodnight — every night. (Repeat from the other post, but it goes both ways.)
22. Institute “couch time.” When he comes home from work, let the kids know that his first 15 minutes are yours, on the couch, holding hands. Don’t allow interruptions. After a while, they will get it.
23. Rub his back at the computer. Are you walking down the lane? Hold his hand. Grasp every opportunity to reach out and touch him.
24. Give him a feet rub. What man can resist having all the kinks worked out of his feet? If he’s especially ticklish, do it with the socks on.
25. Move your seat at the table from the opposite end to next to him. That way you can hold hands when you pray, play footsie under the table, or just stare into each other’s eyes.

Those are 25 ways to show you love him for free! These are special little things that will lure his heart to desire you with deep love. Men love to be appreciated and respected, so when you show him appreciation and respect it is natural for him to treat you with love in return.

4 Steps On How To Pay Off Your Mortgage Early And Save Money

It is said that your home is your biggest expense in your lifetime. Since it is your biggest debt, how can you pay it off early? The traditional mortgage loan was paid off in 30 years, but as expensive as homes are today they are being paid up to 40 years. To some of us 30-40 years seems like a lifetime. So why not focus on doing a few things to speed up the process.

 

For those of us who don’t want the aggravation of refinancing there are a few ways to lower the amount of interest being paid remaining on your principle. But for those willing to refinance you can convert from a 30 year loan to a 15 year loan.

While some folks claim that paying down the principle reduces the mortgage interest available to deduct on your federal tax return if you itemize, in the long run, you’ll still come out ahead. Take into consideration that your tax liability will likely increase incrementally if you’re already in the middle of paying off your mortgage.

Another argument against is that the extra money could be put into investments – but you’d have to make at least the same percentage return as your interest just to break even. Right now, that means playing the stock market or putting money into less-risky savings vehicles, such as CDs, which are barely paying 2% in some places. But don’t forget, these investments are taxable. Your mortgage interest can be used to reduce your tax burden.

If paying off the mortgage early is your aim, always ask if your lender allows prepayments, without penalty. You don’t want to pay toward the principle and get penalized for it. Also be sure your extra money is being put toward the principle, rather next month’s mortgage payment. That won’t reduce your interest payments.

Starting to pay off principle at any point during the term of  the mortgage loan will help save you money, but start early on to make the most difference – the first half of the payments go toward interest. After the halfway point, the majority of your monthly payment goes to the principle.

Strategies for paying down the principle:

1. Add principle payments monthly.

Just tacking on an extra $25, $50 or $100 each month can shave years off your mortgage.

Example: For simplicity’s sake, say you’ve just purchased a home for $250,000, and put 20%, or $50,000, down. That leaves you with $200,000 to finance, which you do through a 30-year conventional mortgage at 6% interest. Plug those numbers into Bankrate.com’s mortgage calculator, and the monthly payment is $1,200. The mortgage would be paid in 360 monthly installments over the course of 30 years.

You don’t have to add a ton of money to your monthly payment to make a difference. Making an extra principle payment of $50 monthly, from the very beginning of your loan period, shaves three years off the length of your mortgage. Instead of paying $231,676 in interest (that’s more than the original loan of $200,000!), it will be $203,797 – a savings of $27,879 over the life of the loan. Similar savings can be realized if you start prepayments at any point of the loan.

2. Make yearly principle payments.

Pay a larger chunk of money toward the mortgage once a year. This is even easier if you plan it around your tax refund or annual work bonus, if you get either.

Example: A payment of $1,000 made once a year reduces the term of that same 30-year mortgage by 56 months – almost five years – and saves you a whopping $42,760 in interest.

3. Move to bi-weekly payments.

This has become a popular, simple option. Available through lenders, bi-weekly mortgage payments occur every two weeks, resulting in 26 payments over a year, rather than the traditional monthly payment. It equals a full extra payment each year, but it’s spread out.

4. Make lump-sum payments when you can.

Even if you don’t follow a set schedule of making prepayments, throw money at the loan when convenient. If you inherit money or get a tax refund, think about putting it toward your mortgage. Every little bit helps!

Find the mortgage prepayment plan that works best for you, and you can pay off your mortgage sooner rather than later, leaving you sitting pretty and freeing up funds for other things, such as travel, kids’ college tuition, savings, and retirement.

Do You Want To Become Great At Network Marketing? Then You Must Become The Least

I observed that once a person recruits a few people into their network marketing business they then have trouble getting to the next level. And they are always befuddled, and wonder, "why?". They usually refer back to the basics and check if they are maintaining a structured schedule, setting goals, etc. But what they fail to notice is that this isn't a  activity problem, and I'm going to share with you today that the problem is within.

To be a great leader you must first learn how to be a servant. In MLM people are so busy chasing recruits and sales that their business comes to a stand still or falls apart. The reason being is that they forgot their downline. All they want their downline for is to bleed them for more money, and this is the totally wrong attitude to have. What I always want to focus on is making my downline successful. I want to be accessible to them and at their disposal.

If you are going to build a house would you choose to build it on bedrock or sand? Well that's where training and development come in and that is you as a leader having a servant attitude. Keeping focused on sales is important but don't lose the people you have over chasing sales.

You can start at giving away yourself. Connect with your downline and give them a phone call or send them an email. This will go a long way in their commitment and loyalty towards you. I want to focus on what edifies' my downlines attitude or skills. If someone calls you and needs some help don't try to charge them for it, and tell them to purchase some material that you make money off of. Just because we have a global community on the Internet doesn't mean that we are dealing with virtual people. These are real people and they respond to attention just as they should. If you treat them like virtual people they will virtually fall our of your online business.
Remember, "It is greater to give than to receive!" And I will testify that when I give I end up receiving a whole lot more. People on the Internet want to deal with people who are real, just be real. When you show compassion people respond to that and they will introduce to others and you won't be able to stop your business from growing when you  incorporate these principles of a servant attitude into your life.

So stop chasing the almighty dollar and check your motives. When you stop perusing people for their money they will stop running .Learn how to get money to chase you. Focus on treating your people like people and watch your business grow in the next 90 days.

2. An Internet community - They have to be connected. Today with the matrix systems that are online; a large organization with a number of aggressive recruiters can enter and get immediate results. Yes the few at the top will make more money, but the MLMers at the top who continually recruit will feed their downline and help them to succeed.
3. People you can contact - Many of us have failed because we couldn't contact successful upline to help us get started. If they could have gotten us from a crawl to learn how to walk we could have learned to run on our own. This would have made us successful and also put more money in there pockets, but they failed to realize this and caused both of us to fail. So I looked for someone who was sincere with a vision as my mentor, not someone who was pushy and a lot of hype. You will find hype in a lot of advertisement, sometimes that is out of their control.
